I am feeling very coldy and fancied a bit of period drama so watching harlots - so bad it's quite good. Contemplating a hot chocolate.

Watching top gun maverick in bed with a glass of wine hoping it will help me sleep as I’ve had awful trouble getting off to sleep this week and tomorrow will be mad busy in work and we are short staffed

Lying on the sofa putting off tidying up the house and the dinner stuff with PBS on mute in the background. A programme about D Day just finished. One about Abraham Lincoln has just started . Dd and I were just wandering why Conan O'Brien is in it. 🤔

I don't know why but we seem to often have the tv on mute recently. A stupid new habit.

Waiting to get on a (delayed) plane home in Cologne after visiting my sister for a few days. I'm bored and tired now but it was lovely.

Painted the bathroom ceiling then painted the garden shed with DH then some gardening. Then a bath. Now Hayu and MN. Chinese and ice cream.

Playing Diablo 4 on the TV while trying to get the cats to settle down. They both want to sleep on the exact same spot on my lap, but it's where holding the controller so I'm getting headbutted and meowed at a lot. They've already accidentally used up all my health potions!

I’m crocheting a baby blanket for my new nephew, due in October….but I grossly misjudged the amount of the main colour yarn I need 🫠 So I’ve had to stop until I can get to the craft shop tomorrow and buy more 🥴

Just had some cheese, pears and honey. Now cuddled with the dog in bed, with heat pad for my sore back.

At work on a sleep over. Finish at 10am.
Currently in bed, hoping I get some sleep.

Just watched an episode of Dept Q with DH, now come up to bed, put my snore strip on my nose and now I’m going to sleep.

Tucked up in bed in the spare room - OH tested positive for Covid today and I don’t want it! Secretly I love this bed so I don’t really mind!

Just finished writing patient notes. I was meant to finish at 8 so was hoping to get home to kiss the kids goodnight but no luck. But apparently we all spend our shifts chatting at the nurses station. That’s obviously where I’m going wrong 🙄
I’m going to read some Sherlock and have a mug of Horlicks (because I’m a 90 year old trapped in a 40 year old’s body) and lie awake thinking how tired I’m going to be tomorrow.
Lovely to hear lots of people having a lovely chilled evening and well done to the people being proactive getting stuff done!
