quick beach picnic near Faversham

My child's birthday is next week and we have booked an activity near Faversham. She would also like to have a picnic on the beach but we only have a couple of hours - where is nearby with easy parking for a quick paddle? Thank you if anyone replies.

Seasalter! But you won't get sand without travelling a bit from faversham! What activity have you booked?

Herne Bay? Whitstable?

I love Faversham used to live right by there - loved the

National Fruit Centre

I'd agree with Seasalter or else Tankerton, both usually far quieter than Whitstable

Thank you all. We have booked Huckleberry Wood micro pigs and want to do a simple (early!) picnic before but the tickets are for 1.30pm. We can cope without sand so sounds like Seasalter will be the best option.

While I'm here any nice pubs nearby for a 5pm dinner? Thank you again.
