Tbh if some is a really frequent poster, I find it a bit of a warning sign like somethings not right
Perhaps that's just been the people I know though?

Yes, I know what you mean. There’s someone I know who posts constantly but, as she posts so often, she doesn’t get many reactions or responses. I suspect this makes her more anxious and she then posts even more.

Yep thinks she's a little star and a very important person .

I think that's true of all social media including stuff like Mumsnet.

So what if they do? You don’t have to respond if you disapprove

I think it’s pretty odd, especially nowadays when FB is something of an anachronism.

We have one unbelievably smug friend who posts at least once a week, and god help us when she goes on holiday when we get treated to daily travelogues. She’s actually the only reason we ever look at FB, so we can laugh at her self-satisfied postings. She’s actually hasn’t noticed that FB has dropped off a cliff for most people

You don’t sound like her friend.

You sound delightful.
Imagine laughing at a friend and are you really that nasty that you only keep FB to snigger at her?
Thats not how normal friendships work
