With this revelation:

KitKat is set to undergo its biggest transformation in nearly 90 years, as the iconic four-finger chocolate bar makes way for a new two-column sharing design.

as a slight aside... Kit Kats are hugely popular in Japan. They have more than 300 different flavours, though not all of them are produced year-round.

How dare they!!!!

Hmv sell some of the Japanese kit Kat's vv expensive so didn't buy any.

StrawberrySquash · 20/07/2025 21:14

Japanese KitKats are very odd! It's a totally different product, built around loads of flavours and seasonal options. But a lot don't really taste of chocolate.

Ugh, these new 'sharing' bars were nasty and had that weird bitter taste you get in some American chocolate. Why does everything have to be upgraded or updated? If folk are still buying the original it's because they're happy with it!

Kvikk Lunsj - Wikipedia

Recently had one of these when on holiday in Norway - far better than what passes for a Kit Kat these days!

I do not share any food ever. Think Smithy's Indian take away rant, so I'm certainly not sharing a Kit Kat. The very nerve of them.
