And most of the ‘deals’ are available elsewhere for equivalent or cheaper

I got a good deal on a new kindle and a revlon hair dryer brush but I was in the market for both those things and was hanging about waiting to see if they went low enough to buy - kindle went to £129 (-£40) and the hair dryer thing to £25 (-£25) - I did get and extra £4 off by choosing the pink version which I wouldn’t normally buy pink - you do have to be smart and know what you want and have done your due diligence

I bought 20 pots of play doh for £4, definitely cheaper than Argos.

We are away in he caravan so missed it this year, not in for delivery, I normally use it for cleaning stuff as that often goes on offer.

My husband is a massive sucker for online bargains. He got us a vax hoover, a toaster, a fan, energy drinks, Cola and 5 packs of tassimo coffee pods. All good stuff probably slightly discounted. Once though he got me 3 or 4 dresses from mandm direct in the sale...they were so hideous (think calf length skintight high neck dress, a month after I've had a cesarean and have a terrible mum ledge and breastfeeding) i sent them all back and got 1 nice dress instead
