I'm so so so bored. I should be able to work when I'm at work. I want to cry, I've still got 2 hours left and it's like torture. So, AIBU?

I don't understand?

ExtraFancy · 25/05/2008 20:08

NO! Where do you work? I used to do the evening shift at my job (Government contact centre) and it was excruciating when there was no work to be done.

I'm working normal 'office hours' now, and am so so busy but the time flies, so you have my sympathy!

Alambil · 25/05/2008 20:09

Why haven't you got work? Talk to your boss - ask for more

LittleBella · 25/05/2008 20:09

What do you do? Can you mumsnet/ take a good book/ write poetry/ a novel without anyone noticing?

calvemjoe · 25/05/2008 20:10

I work in a call centre for an engineer call out system. Nothing is breaking down today. The last 6 hours have dripped by. Even my fab new book has got boring.

oh I see now.

There's nothing worse than watching the clock..I've quit a job before because it was so boring and nothing to do.

At least you have the internet, that should help

calvemjoe · 25/05/2008 20:16

I've even had enough of mumsnet, and that really isn't like me

Would you like us to go and break some things for you?

calvemjoe · 25/05/2008 20:42
