Fake hair powder from barbers

So my partner who’s been going to the same barbers for around five years decided to get a volume powder from them today and was delighted with it. It cost him 8€ (ROI) and he’s used it going to work. I’ve just had time to read the ingredients and the warning kinda scared me (do not inhale, it will cause physical damage) worded kinda weirdly I typed the name into google to find out it was from temu. It’s a knock off of the brand schwarzkopf, the ingredients are not even close to what the original brand has. Am I being unreasonable to throw it in the bin and tell my husband to ask the barbers not to use it in his hair when getting his hair cut next time

I wouldn't throw it in the bin, it's not yours to do that. Mention your concerns by all means but it's up to him what he does about it really

I’ve been messaging him because he’s working at the minute and sent him the photos he told me to go ahead and throw it in the bin and he’ll say it to the barbers when he goes back again. I didn’t mention in the post that he suffers from bad eczema I don’t know if that would be affected by the unregulated chemicals

Are you his parent or his partner? It’s up to him what he does with it surely.

Fuck that right into the bin, silica causes silicosis of the lungs, you do not want to be breathing that in.
