Anyone else still awake?

I fell asleep on the sofa at 6 and woke up at 9 pm. Pootled doing washing etc watched abit of tv and then went upto bed.

mmmmm well I’ve watched the last season of line of duty ready to start the new one.

im now downstairs.
just hung a load of washing out and sat listening to the birds cursing myself for nodding off earlier

anyone else want to share?

I'm in Vancouver, Canada. Lying here with a brutal stomach ache and nausea. Third time in about a month, or so.

Well I’m still up and awake.

im now going through the lounge sideboard where all the post gets chucked whenever we have people over or because dh doesn’t really ever think I might want to see what turns up so I can sort and file it so subsequently I end up with a unit full of it

i have it all over the foot rest in the lounge and am sorting it into piles whilst wat hung Shirley valentine

bloody love the film and just stumbled across it on sky.

im peri menopausal which every now and then gives me a night of no sleep but it hasn’t happened for ages.

my teen is doing mocks this next two weeks and stressing about it which is keeping me awake I think

mynother two adult dc are going through big stages in their lives at the same time so I think I’m just thinking of all of that aswell

i also run my own business and work in it full time and that creates so much behind the scenes stuff and my to do list seems to be getting bigger by the day.

It sounds ridiculous, but I can't sleep for worrying about a thread I posted on last night. Sometimes you hope they're made up don't you.
One of our dogs is on steroids too (not the body building kind 😀) so the moment i hear her move from her bed I know she'll need letting out for a wee.
This thread is making me miss the night feeding baby days dreadfully too.

I'm awake because it's the middle of the afternoon here in Australia.

But ironically, I too am suffering from insomnia. 😆

highlandponymummy · 30/06/2025 05:20

It's too hot to sleep

pontivex · 30/06/2025 05:22

Becuase I’m in New Zealand and at work in a workshop on a very boring legal topic.

Awake too with my 9 week old sleeping on me, since 4am every time I try to transfer him back to the cot he wakes up so I've given up now!

Amiunemployable · 30/06/2025 05:30

I'm on holiday and haven't slept at all tonight yet. And it's now 6:28am, and I'm sitting outside having given up trying.

I'm not sure why. Haven't slept well at all since we've been on holiday, but this is the first night I haven't slept at all.

It's our last proper day, too, as we fly home early tomorrow morning.

I have chronic insomnia so I've had about 3 hours sleep last night.....

Mumofsoontobe3 · 30/06/2025 07:28

34 weeks pregnant, think the heat took it out of me yesterday. Ended up spending the night on the sofa tossing and turning. DC1 up now, DC2 due up any minute. I'm exhausted! Hope everyone manages a good sleep tonight.

DontTouchRoach · 30/06/2025 07:46

I’m in hospital. The lights come on several times a night for reasons unclear to everyone including the staff, it’s really noisy and my illness is causing night sweats, so I was awake at 1am, 2.30am, 3.45am and 4.30am and then had to have five vials of blood taken at 6am.
