Do you actually like your hairdresser?

Not just “they’re good at their job”, I mean do you genuinely enjoy the experience of going, the vibe, the conversation (or lack of it), the whole thing? Or do you stick with them out of habit, fear of the awkward “I’m seeing someone else” break-up or because finding a new one is such a pain? Curious if I’m the only one who’s still going to the same person out of sheer inertia…

I like mine, I enjoy our chats.

I had to change from my previous long term hairdresser because she turned into a conspiracy theorist nutcase and that’s all she’d talk about (Covid, vaccines, etc). It was a pity because I loved the cut she gave me

Yes, he's great - he works from home so one client at a time. It's taken me a long time to find someone I'm comfortable with

I used to like her. I've been going to the same hairdresser for the past 6 years and I loved the way she cut my hair, she was also a lovely chatty person. Last time, however, she gave me an old fashioned style that I can only say made me look like Ann Widdecombe! Not what I wanted at all. I told her I disliked it and she fobbed me off. She was obviously too busy to give a shit about my hair despite booking an appointment....hence I'm now looking for new hairdresser 😩
