To want to do something else?

A group of us ladies from school (we are in our mid 40s) meet up a few times a year for a meal or afternoon tea but I would rather do something else, other than sitting and eating.
My friends are open to alternative ideas!
Trouble is, I don’t know what to suggest!
Does anyone have any ideas? A spa day or a physically exerting event isn’t possible as my friend has a heart condition.
We are in Lichfield, Staffs.

  • cookery class (still eating but more active beforehand)

Depending on the time of year, something crafty?

-Wreath making lesson
-Glass workshop. I live near the sea, so lots of seaglass workshops, but also non seaglass ones
-Cooking lesson on something specific- Thai, Vietnamese, cocktails, BBQ, Butchery skills, seafood, veggie etc
-Walk through a local park or historical part of a city. There are often maps and specific walks of interest
-Walk along a canal path
-Museum

Edited as thought of more:
-I went through a phase one year of making terrariums. I'd buy the glass containers from charity shops, then bought white stones, soil, charcoal (to help reduce mould/algae) and several sedum succulents which break up into many more. Mum and I enjoyed a few days of making them up and most were given to family as Christmas gifts. (I know, not everyone likes a home-made gift).
-Go to the cinema
-Ten pin bowling

Puppy yoga! The yoga part is generally optional if not suited for your friend but she'd still get puppy cuddles.

One is allergic to dogs but I’d do it for the puppy cuddles!

Escape room is a good shout. We don’t fancy cooking, we all have to cook for our kids at home!

Was it fun? I've always fancied doing it with my sisters, but we were afraid it might give us murderous urges.

Barefoot mud walk? I’ve done a few of these and love them! I’m 60 and not at all fit, so I think your friend with the heart condition would be fine. It’s not strenuous (and if there’s part of the course that you don’t fancy, like walking across a beam holding onto ropes) you can skip it and just squelch through the mud (which is actually really relaxing ☺️) x

It really was-we did it with adult kids and their partners-it was such a laugh, mainly because we were all hopeless-it’s not as easy as it looks 🤣

I’ve not done it yet but it’s on my list! Drink wine and paint a canvas. I’ve also seen people then number the canvasses and pick a number at random at the end so you go home with someone else’s painting which could be fun too!
