Reporting team leader

I report to the same manager as the team leader and she's new to the position but not new to the team. There has been a few instances of her reporting someone or being pulled up, I'm not privy but the team has had a few leavers and we are recruiting.

I don't work directly with her but I have been over the past few weeks.

I was however shocked at her behavior. Although it was nothing bad, it was just unprofessional.

Manager has been on annual leave and I've emailed. I didn't say the manager needed to act upon it, but I just thought the tone and talking about colleagues in front of /customers is unprofessional. Also she was not picking over not printing double sided (I used my own computer, ink etc).

I didn't have an issue until I've actually had to work with her.

Not I'm stressing

Sorry op not sure what you mean "not picking up over not printing double..." and the fact you use your own printer. And what is not stressing.

What was she saying about colleagues? The context makes a difference

Not printing double sided. Didn't need to do double printed. My printer doesn't do it double sided.

I can't be detailed but it was unnecessary to say it in front of the customer.

Ah yes, that's unprofessional and I'd be pissed off to be called out in front of the customer. But I would also have a word we her first and tell her...if you don't work with her usually then you've got nothing to lose. I would email in the first instance then you have evidence of what was said.

It wasn't me she was calling out, it was another colleague. I just don't think you should be talking about a colleague in front of the customer of how they should have been on site and did X. Didn't concern the company
