Love this paint, but no mention of colour or brand.
Anyone able to help please?
Have discounted Edward Bulmer's ‘Lute as my best guess. Thanks.
U- can't tell.
NU- easy to narrow down.

I’d email them and ask, they can pass on an enquiry. You’ve nothing to lose and it would take less than a minute.

Got a reply!!! 🥳 It's F&B Dimity.
Gosh, can't believe it. So so chuffed.
Thank you for the encouragement.

Off to buy bucket loads 🙂.

F&B - Dated 90’s Beige

My Google reverse search said there wasn't enough detail in the photo to find an exact match.

I’m 35 but still clueless. I’ve heard of a reverse search. What does it do and how do you do it? Sorry to derail but I need in on how mumsnetters source things. Someone pulled the website of a crap side pic of a fleece but found the item the woman wanted

On a photo, you click share, then select Google, which should bring up similar photos or direct match if lucky.

Phones are different, I sent a newer Samsung back but it could search text in a photo too.

Farrow & Ball cream or double cream?

Thanks, it's the same paint, but different light.
Agree about always being hard to tell, even with colour cards.

Given it shows up as two different colours in the different light - which do you prefer? Also if it’s going to look so different in different lights (as I know all paints do) does it matter precisely what it is? Choose something similar and the light will do the rest.
Or zoom in, print it off, and get Valspar to colour match it at B&Q.

Thanks @Bobloblawww , not on the colour card samples nor online, might have been discontinued. @OhMehGoddess , I love the cream, ordered samples of both creams too.

That's true, thanks. I wouldn't have picked it from the colour cards as it seems more white yet more yellow in the magazine.
I've ordered a few pots and swatches around the Dimity card and the magazine colour.

Our local paint shop lets you take anything in like a photo or picture and they scan it and make up the paint colour in any finish. It’s more expensive than regular paint but worth it.
