It’s not that they’re usually a pain in the hole to screw back on, it’s not that they squash your nose when you’re trying to drink…

It’s that when it’s something like a smoothie, you have to lick them out like a fucking pervert. I’m always tonguing these lids in public like a dirty bastard, but if I don’t then I get smoothie spilled on me from where it’s collected in the lid.

Milk lids aren’t attached though. Why are they immune to this nonsense? It can’t be about recycling because they’ve recently made the lids all white (no red, green or blue anymore) to make them recyclable. And yet they’re not attached to the carton 🤷🏻

I completely agree. So annoying, can’t drink out of them. Difficult to screw on and off. No consideration given to the elderly and disabled that might struggle with them. I pull them off everytime, partly just to make a point (to noone other than me, but it makes me feel better 😂). So annoying and pointless.

It's the leaking. They never go back on right snd I rndbup with s puddle of sprite a the bottom of my back. Gave a bottle of fanta to my boyfriend, he put it in his pocket and he looked like he had peed himself when we reached home.

Yes they are here - and they always ping a little bit of milk, and the kids often don't manage to get them screwed back on.

Plus of course the bottles are thinner, so if you happen to squeeze them wrong, then an actual glug of milk bloops out

Might have to get some of those! My oh has one of those heavy everything type penknives (Swiss army style I guess) on his key ring, and there is a scissor bit on there but my crappy arthritic fingers - like so many on here! - just cannot manage something like that! And I think the power bank in my bag alone seems to weigh about 16st so if I was to add one of those penknives my poor, weak body would just be slumped on the floor trying to drag my bag around behind me 😆
