If you were in Bridlington on Wednesday morning, using the paddling pool at around 10.30 am with your partner and little boy…

I can’t stop thinking about you and how awfully he speaks to you. I wish I could have approached you at the time.

You're probably better off approaching the local Facebook group.

That’s not quite as anonymous

This reminds me of a time when DD was in hospital and the dad of the kid in the next bed spoke to the mum horribly, I mean really disrespectfully. I often think about her. I wish I’d said something.

It’s awful isn’t it? He created such an atmosphere over absolutely nothing.

They’d gone with their toddler and they’d let him go in the paddling pool in his dungarees. He was blaming her saying she was stupid, stomping around after the toddler huffing and puffing. He said they’d got no spare clothes for him and she replied that he’d packed the bag. She said It wasn’t her fault that he didn’t pack spare clothes and then didn’t try to stop him getting his dungarees wet. He then went and whispered something in her ear and she said “it can’t always be my job”. Then he said “we’re going” and dragged the baby out of the pool, who started screaming, and then they struggled to get him out of the wet stuff into a dry nappy and t shirt. Then he stormed off.

He had such a horrible, aggressive feeling around him.

There were about three other mums there just looking at each other in concern and even our toddlers were frightened of him.

Horrible man.
