Just something about this time of day…

I can’t actually explain it, feels like nostalgia, the summer warm evenings, particularly this time of day when the sun is going down. It makes me feel so full of gratitude and I don’t know why! I read something the other day I think it was called ‘sundowner’ about people who find this time of day/year really anxiety inducing. I wondered if anyone else feels like same as me or the opposite and feels complete dread.

I think people like various times of day/year, temperatures, seasons etc for all sorts of different reasons.
I wonder if what you've read about is "sundowning" when symptoms of dementia can become worse?
Many people with depression feel worse in the morning.
I'm quite sure there are many people feeling the same as you, many feeling the opposite and very many who think it's not that deep.
I love Autumn (my birthday) and the approach to Christmas and really enjoy the dark evenings. Once New Year is over the dark evenings really tick me off.
It's lovely that you're enjoying summer evenings and, rest assured, you're not alone.
None of us are as unique as we think 😊

I think it’s because nostalgia and memories are often linked with summertime.
I once read it described as “ the light of other days “.
