Surely this cant just be age related like everyone keeps telling me

I sailed through pregnancy 10 and 12 years ago

This has been hideous

I have been basically in bed, signed off work since the minute my test came back positive as I can’t keep my eyes open and everywhere hurts

Feel sick the entire time from the minute I wake up to the minute I try and sleep

9 weeks and it feels like it’s getting worse not better

Has anyone felt like this and then it’s turned a corner??

This sounds like me but you sound a bit worse than me (I could get out of bed). I was horrendously ill until about 16 weeks. It started at 3 weeks and was full blown by 5 weeks. I’m 24 weeks now and still on two types of medication. I am still constantly nauseous but it is definitely better - I can move without being sick now and the nausea is less strong, i.e. I’m not having to physically struggle all the time just to not be sick. I honestly wasn’t sure if I could get through it. I literally just had to get through each day until I could go to bed, and even then I was waking in the night to be sick. I’m sorry you’re going through this and I hope it gets better. Given how I feel now, I suspect I will be ill for the rest of the pregnancy, however it has very very subtly improved in the last few weeks, and I have halved the amount of one of my medications.
