I’m really hung over and the last thing I need to hear is this little twat blowing a whistle which they can’t even blow properly.

AIBU to shout out the window to stfu ?

Are they outside? Could you throw a jug of water and claim you thought it was a cat?

😂

Lonelydave · 14/06/2025 09:39

order breakfast and some whisky, stick on some happy hard core, don white gloves and rave in garden - if you cant beat them, join em!

InterestedDad37 · 14/06/2025 09:48

Call him a little fat c*nt 🤔😀. It apparently works a treat 😂😂 (IYKYK) 😉

MyKingdomForACat · 14/06/2025 09:58

What always baffles me is how the parents think it’s acceptable and how the fuck it doesn’t grind their gears to be hearing it. Fucking pest

Eldermileniummam · 14/06/2025 10:00

That's annoying

The parents probably don't realise you'd hear

@Latenightreader Cats can blow whistles?

PomeloOud · 14/06/2025 10:01

How annoying.

I’d absolutely shout at the little twat. He must have feckless parents.

Tagyoureit · 14/06/2025 10:05

I would definitely shout out the window telling him to shut up!!

Who the hell gives their kid a whistle at any time of day?? Bastards!

Theunamedcat · 14/06/2025 10:06

Can you not play that annoying noise that works on teenagers to get them to fuck off?

My neighbour across the road was washing his car at 7.30 this morning noisy cheap bloody jet wash scared my cat and he landed on me completely freaked out I then couldn't breathe and woke up freaked out he then sensed this and began pulling at me desperately trying to boop me in the dam face to comfort me (not ideal when you can't breathe) anyways I'm up now

It's unacceptable to blow the whistle under these circumstances, and it's also unacceptable for you to use misogynistic language.

Omg lol

Mymanyellow · 14/06/2025 10:12

I don’t t understand how this doesn’t drive the parents demented as well.

8am on a Saturday morning is absolutely unreasonable I’d never let my child stand in the garden blowing a whistle at 8am 😬

Although to be fair I wouldn’t let them do it at any time. I don’t want to listen to that any more than the neighbours do.

Same lol whenever my kids have whistles they mysteriously disappear. I don't let my kids in the garden at weekends/half term until after 9:30am. My neighbours all have older teens and I know they do not want to be woken up by a 6&7 year old!

Where do you live?

I want a neighbour like this 😀

Can't you just move to the other side of the house?

I'd like to move next door to you!
If only we could all have considerate neighbours like you, I like an occasional lie in at weekends but the neighbours usually make sure it doesn't happen!

Needmorelego · 14/06/2025 10:38

Do you know the kids name?
Just yell out the window "Bob can you stop with the whistle please - I've got a splitting headache. Thanks."

Hahaha! West midlands 😂 If my kids are fighting outside (during the day) I bring them back in and tell them the neighbours do NOT want to hear that 🤣. I always teach them to be mindful of others, even on buses if they touch the seat in front im like nope get away!

Velmy · 14/06/2025 10:48

Give the kid 8 cans of Stella and buy your own whistle for tomorrow morning.

Some lessons are best learned the hard way.

I wouldn't put anything past them... they can make a high pitched wail which could sound like a whistle maybe?

Sherararara · 14/06/2025 11:16

Auroraloves · 14/06/2025 08:53

Is the little twat a child or an adult?

I presume OP doesn’t mean a short adult.

It's the only way! I teach them that they're my world, but no one else wants to hear them being assholes 🤣🤣 can be harder with my eldest as he has ASD so has meltdowns, but I do bring him inside and explain to him that isn't something he can do in the garden but he can calm himself down in the house.

Just ask the little twat to can it.
"You've had fun with that but can you stop now? Thank you."
