Dcd assessments can be done from 4. ADHD are often later (we assess from 6). Your local NHS will dictate waiting lists depending on what they are commissioned for and how they are organised. Where I work you'd get OT within a month but might wait 6m for the paediatrician. Neighbouring trust has a 2y waiting list for OT. It shouldn't be a postcode lottery but it is.
