Does anyone get a really dry mouth where it feels like the inside of your lips/cheeks is a bit swollen and then seems to peel off a little bit after a few days? This is the second time I’ve had it now and there is no obvious reason for it. Not burnt my mouth, not eaten anything out of the ordinary. It’s not painful, just an annoying feeling. I’m 44 so thinking it might be hormonal/peri?

Burning tongue syndrome or something - a known peri symptom!

I got this and found it was my toothpaste. I now don’t use oralb products and am fine. Such a shame as they were my favourite.

Yes, definitely. My mouth becomes very dry all of a sudden too. You might find some medicated lozenges for sore throats help.

It's a rotten time in many ways.

It could be burning mouth syndrome which can be related to your nervous system. There is medication to help with this. It could also be dry as a lack of oestrogen in all cells leaves you dry. Some people experience bad breath during per menopause because of this. I would also say, if the problem persists you will need to ask your GP to refer you on so it can be looked at and ruled out as anything concerning.
