So I’ve been talking to this guy for a few weeks( not the same man in my last post) Anyways he lives locally to where I am, we have a date planned out for next week. He recently went on vacation and bought things for me ? He also bought me a few things without me asking or knowing anything about it. He plans on giving it all to me during our first date? Is this a form of love bombing or is he just trying hard?

Oh I vaguely remember that post! What was the justification or outcome? I think posters said there were red flags on both sides 😅

You were asking the other one for money! It’s all a bit strange. Are you sure you are not ‘hinting’ for presents? It’s not a dynamic I recognise from online dating. Just meet them for a quick coffee.

To some people it's not even about trying to hard, it's just the way they are naturally. I'm known for my cheesy puppy smartshow 3d slideshows randomly sent to my friends, but then again, we've known each other for quite some time. Could be just his love language, but I'd be keeping an eye on that. I agree that a little souvenir is cute but the rest is too little too much for a few weeks of talking.
