To take 7 year old to BDT Hyde park Sabrina Carpenter?

I bought tickets to take my kids to a sabrina Carpenter but am getting concerned that it's not a great idea to take young kids to an event like this. Has anyone done BST concerts with small children? I realise there's no seating but thought could arrive late... should I just abandon the idea altogether?

Pop music has always been about teen rebellion - sex drugs and rock and roll. Find it really weird when parents take primary aged children. It’s not for them.

But that's not what her success is built on.

even if that were the case, she's allowed to do her show as she wishes. The current incarnation is clearly not for children. No one has to be stuck on Disney forever.

I'm puzzled why anyone would consider taking a 7 year old.

My 12 y o likes her music but I only let her listen to the “clean” versions! Would not even be taking her at 12 to a Sabrina Carpenter concert. 14/15+ would be my threshold to be honest. But a 7 y o would come home with a LOT of questions for you that you probably don’t want to answer right now 😂

Everyone just hung about and sat on the ground between acts when I was at BST last year. I think it’s a great venue for kids as you can stay far back and watch the passive screens. There is plenty of space for chilling beforehand.

i would absolutely not take a 7 year old to see SC though. Have you even listened to the music? It’s wildly inappropriate for a child.

She’s pretty vulgar in her shows, not child friendly x

Unnecessary to take a young child to an adult concert at that age imo. They won’t be able to see anything, it’s crowded, lots of standing around and would be just as much fun dancing around to the songs in the living room tbh.
Save concerts for when they’re teens.

Not at all. DC went to one of her concerts with friends and couldn’t believe how young some of the children there were. She says it was not at all appropriate

Only if you want to explain what she means by ‘ Tears run down my thighs’
