DH has been invited to the wedding of an old school friend, I'm also invited.
The friend and his fiance live at the opposite end of the country and I've only met them once, they seem lovely.
I really don't want to go to their Vegas wedding. I've never fancied going, I'm really not a party person, and I don't want to leave the dc for a week, and I don't really want to spend the money either.
DH thinks I'm an absolute grump, but I think he'd have a better time without me, we're absolute chalk and cheese, he loves late nights and lots of alcohol, I'm a non drinking early bird. It works well at home as we are used to each other's ways, but I think I'd just be miserable and tired in Vegas.
Would you go to a destination wedding for people you've met once, somewhere you've no desire to visit?
