DH shops in the most irritatingly methodical way - he has to go slowly up and down every single aisle, take forwever on every item because he's trying to work out which brand is cheaper and searching for a BOGOF. It drives me bonkers as I employ the chaotic run up and down a completely erratic way method of shopping. The worst bit was waiting for him to pour over a bloody Stuff magazine (which annoys me anyway with the gratuitous use of scantily clad women on the cover) trying to work out if he'd read that issue yet or not.

I have a suspicion that my method of supermarket shopping winds him up no end, too .

I take ages. And if it's one where I haven't been much then I spend forever running up and down criss crossing the shop.

Full sympathy with your dh, I'm afraid.

I generally spend at least 2-3 hrs. He's much faster than me. He shops well - extravangtly - but loads of things you could make into a meal. (and lots of wine)

I send him out when I want some treats/extras but not to budget for it!!
