For the record I'm brown and clearly not British born.

OP posts:

That's awful and no wouldn't employ them. I'm white British but my DH isn't and we were recently on holiday with friends when the election results came out. I found out half of them had voted Reform UK which was incredibly uncomfortable. We have since gone low contact.

ArtemisiaTheArtist · 23/05/2025 21:40

I am white and English and UK born. You can be proud of being English without posting shite like this. I’d look for someone else, OP.

BlackMountainGoat · 23/05/2025 21:42

What the fuck - no, I wouldn't.

hehehesorry · 23/05/2025 21:56

I'd use them happily.

F1LandoFan · 23/05/2025 22:48

I absolutely wouldn’t use them, and I’d tell them why and make sure they’re read it before I block them

SeaShellsSanctuary1 · 23/05/2025 23:18

I'd drop them like a stone.

In some ways these pages provide a good insight into the type of people you wish to part money with. When I employ trades, I have a quick scan of profiles and swiftly reject any that have posted this crap on their pages

"It's free speech innit".....yeah with consequences. Next

Not in a million years. You need to be able to actually TRUST the person you're entrusting your home and your pets with.

NeedForSpeed · 23/05/2025 23:27

Well I'm Scottish, living in England. I assume I need to leave the country too? Or if I'm white am I acceptable to the likes of her?

If you've already spoken to her about using her services, I'd absolutely suggest you tell her you will never use her - and tell her why.

If you were just browsing, I'd just block and avoid.

pinkstripeycat · 23/05/2025 23:29

No. Awful

I'd use them happily.

Why? Hope it’s not because you agree with the sentiments.

It’s more likely that they just want to evoke responses on Mumsnet.

JMSA · 24/05/2025 08:32

Oh my God, that’s terrible. I wouldn’t use them, no.
