Would you just give them cash? Or buy an gift?And how much? Close friend and I’m a bridesmaid. We are thinking of £50 max because I’m already paying out lots for the hen dress etc

I didn't have a registry list nor add anything in the invite about gifts.

90% gave cash in a card
5% gave gift vouchers
5% gave a gift. A stack of charcoal coloured towels was one item I recall.

I don't think my BM gave me money. She made a photo book which included photo of our friendship over the years, my hen do, the wedding etc. It was so thoughtful and lovely. I would have felt awful if she'd also given money on top.
