I went for my bridal dress fitting today and although the dress makes me feel wonderful, I couldn’t help but pick at my body…. My arms, my belly…

I am due on my period, so more bloater and hormonal than normal. I’m around a size 10-12 dress sizes.

just so much pressure to look slim and toned, I had a baby 12 months ago.

I have no real reason to post this but did anyone else ever feel like this but feel so much better on the day? With a tan, makeup and hair.

ugh

Please don't put pressure on yourself. You will look and feel amazing on the day trust me !! Your period will not only make you feel more bloated but have a horrible effect on your emotions as well xx

That's the body that nourished and birthed your child. It's a wonderful thing.
You'll look fabulous on the day. Enjoy it!

I think it's normal to worry a bit with all the stress of it all, I'm sure you will be a beautiful bride! Have a lovely time x

Please just remember that the one most important thing about any wedding is that you are marrying the right person!

but yes, on the day I’m sure you will feel amazing!

Good luck op

I felt like this hand have bought an underskirt for my dress and skims both just make me feel tighter and look slimmer and I’m sure my hair make up and tan will help in the day too

your body has done an amazing thing you need to give yourself time x

I'm sure you looked bloody brilliant. It's spending too long staring at yourself in the mirror! Like when you're at the hairdresser's and you start to scrutinise your face and become conscious of every tiny little flaw.

On the day you'll feel amazing, and don't put so much pressure on yourself post birth.
