Question for anyone whose booked a Virgin experience day

I have a voucher for a west end show and a meal that is going to run out soon. I am thinking of taking my dc during half term which is only a week and a half away! I noticed the terms said participants need to be 18+ (dc is 12) and that they advise booking 4-6 weeks in advance. Does anyone know if these rules are actually adhered to? I have no idea why an age 18 restriction would be put on a show that’s open to all ages. Would really appreciate any guidance before booking anything.

In my experience they make as difficult as possible from all angles to use those bloody vouchers !

I wouldn’t try to use it if it has an age restriction. Could it be the restaurant rather than the show?

if you go on to the website you can exchange the voucher for something else which may not have an age restriction.

I suspect it must be the restaurant which is a bit daft. But im more interested in the show anyway. In reality I doubt the theatre would care as long as you have a ticket. But I don’t want to lie about dc age when booking in case there are any issues later. Gah!
