To not want to go on holiday because weather is great here and to feel wronged

Was off for a week last month and the weather was really dreadful the entire time. Went on a staycation and it pretty much spoiled it.

Going abroad in a few days and the weather here is forecast to remain wall to wall glorious sunshine for days on end. Weather where we are going is drizzle and meh.

I don't only go away for weather etc but I feel really pissed off 😞 it feels like I never win with the weather and the weather gods are completely against me.

Where are you going?

We usually go to the canaries in the winter so we enjoy the U.K. summer and get some winter sun abroad.

YABU, sorry. May - and often early June - is always Scotland’s best weather and you should know this if you live here! Hope you have a great holiday though.

Totally get this! It’s the worst when you finally plan a trip and the UK decides to show off with perfect weather. Makes you want to cancel and stay home at least you'd enjoy that sunshine! c to f
