DH dishwasher logic (or lack of!)

I'm unwell at the moment so taking a backseat on household chores.

Heard DH moaning from the kitchen that our dishwasher is useless and how he ends up hand washing more than he puts in the dishwasher, so had a sneaky peak when he was out of the room....

... so the top wrack was loaded with one large baking tray... and the sink drainer loaded with mugs, bowls, measuring jugs etc (about 15 items) that he'd washed by hand.

Should I suggest that next time he loads the top wrack with all the mugs etc, which would leave him with just one baking tray to wash by hand, or should I just keep my opinions to myself and just be grateful he is doing all the cooking (his usual job) and all the cleaning up (my usual job) too?!

(In case any doubt, this is a lighthearted post)

I’d rather hand wash lightly soiled mugs than have to scrub a single baking tray. So I vote you leave him to do it in the way he prefers

They say there are 2 types of people (dishwasher architects and dishwasher lunatics) and they marry each other. Very true in my case, my dp was in charge of household tasks when he was looking for work and was making lots of noise about the dishwasher being on its way out and sweetcorn getting stuck in the mechanisms (this should have been his first clue, no reason for sweetcorn to be in a dishwasher). Anyway since I've been doing it again it seems to have magically resolved...I've also explained to him about scraping the plates and an occasional rinse 🤦‍♀️
