or just petty to mind nursery giving 6 month old DD squash?

Sorry Haven't read every comment. But just to add my 2p. My sister had Blackcurrant drink when she was a baby.(My mum didn't know better at the time) She had to have many of her milk teeth pulled out and was in a lot of pain. 4-5 of her adult teeth never grew. My son only has water or milk at nursery No sweet drinks at home until he was about 2 years old now only diluted apple juice. He isn't bothered and does not like very sweet drinks or food.

YANBU, squash not suitable for babies and they should respect your requests, you are paying for your DD's care there.
I dont give my 3 year old or 1 year old squash, agree its nasty stuff.
