Are there dentists around?

Off the back of a previous thread I saw yesterday, are the more expensive toothpastes worth a higher cost for some reason?

I currently buy Colgate triple action for 99p from Home Bargains, but I saw a thread yesterday where a Colgate toothpaste was extremely expensive. Perhaps around the £6 mark?

Is there a difference in terms of quality?

Absolutely not. As long as a toothpaste contains fluoride it doesn’t make any difference what brand you buy. Don’t waste your money on brands and advertising.

I had a complicated extraction by a max fax surgeon, she said you don't need to fork out for expensive toothpaste

There's a weekly programme on TV where they try out same items, different budgets.
Last week was different toothpaste and Tesco 50p toothpaste came out just as good at doing the job as major brands.

Some toothpastes are eye openly expensive and as long as they contain the correct amount of fluoride the cheaper one's will work just as well.

I was tempted to say "jaw dropping expensive" 😂

The Sensodyne repair toothpaste that has the NovaMin is worth the extra price. Its usually on offer for £4 at Tescos.
