Beach holiday with limited mobility

Not an Aibu but a request for suggestions. Looking for a beach holiday in England which is suitable for someone who can walk but not long distances and not if its very hilly, or lots of steps to and from the beach. Weymouth has been done the last few years and Weston is a day trip so wanting to try some other places.

Scarborough has some lovely beaches. There is a Victorian railway that takes you down to the beach. Some lovely cafés in South bay too. I have similar problems and found Scarborough really lovely

North Norfolk, especially around Holcombe and Wells is quite accessible - decent parking rather than everyone vying for a spot along a small promenade, and if you have / hired a wheelchair, several beaches have level wooden boardwalks all the way from the car parks to the beach. There’s also plenty to do in the locality. Lack of easy train access to the region seems to make them less popular for daytrippers, so much less busy and hectic as well.

Swanage, Perranporth

I know you asked for beach holidays in England, but have you thought of the seaside resort of Los Cristianos in Tenerife? It was built to be accessible, with 90% of shops/cafes being so. They made seafront commercial premises have to be flat to the pavement so no steps into them. There are several electric wheelchair rental places (some have two seaters for rent), and those wheelchairs are everywhere. There are many who go there with mobility problems, and it is a lot more sunny than England. Just a thought.

Tynemouth, Newcastle. Disabled parking right down near the beach. There are steps for able bodied people or you can wheelchair down the road.

can be a bit of a walk to the sea depending on the tide.

The Searles' resort by the beach in Hunstanton, North Norfolk, is accessible. We visit frequently and there are often families with disabled relatives there.

Sidmouth, Devon is flat with a beach

look into Ryde on the Isle of Wight. My situation is a bit different in that I use a wheelchair, but it’s definitely my best beach experience I can remember.

Have a look at the Gower. Several of the beaches have carparks without a long walk.

Broadstairs is lovely, and I'd also recommend Isle of Wight - loads of different places to visit, buses are good too if you're not taking a car but it's easy to get the car ferry
