Do you throw out birthday/christmas cards?

I usually recycle mine, but this year I’ve cut out the pictures, which will be re-used as gift tags or to make new cards with them.

What does everyone else do?

I keep mine till after Xmas. I used to make gift tags out of them but no longer.
I then go through them all, re reading any messages inside etc.
I keep only a few significant ones (which I date), then recycle the rest (recycling bin).
The number I send and receive are much lower than previously.

Almost no one in the family sends out actual cards anymore, we've switched to video greeting cards years ago. I still keep the special ones in a box along with some letters, though.

Gift tags and scraps to recycling ....

BUT i have to say that i wish charity cards wouldn't print all their info in the middle of the back of the front cover - (if that makes any sense!?) the number of times i've cut out the pic and turned it over to find out it's unusable as you can't write on it !!
