Did/do your Dcs grandparents buy them an Easter egg?

Bit late on this one! but curious

My grandparents always got us a large chocolate egg each Easter.

My parents came to us for lunch and an egg hunt, but no easter egg, Dm said she didn’t think about it.

No, nothing, I prefer it that way as my kids don’t get too much chocolate. We got them an Easter egg and that’s enough. They are only little!

My mum got me and kids one every year, in-laws get kids one.

DS got them from MIL and from FIL and step-MIL. They’re kept at MIL’s house as he goes to her after school twice a week.

No, my daughter had enough!

Both DS and DD got clothes and choc from PIL, an egg from 2 x aunties, an egg from 2 x great grandparents, then an outfit/toys/choc eggs and crafts from my DM, toy from my friend, bunny and egg from another friend and then basket from us, plus an egg hunt. They also got something from school/hobbies.
Far too much really but they appreciate they're very lucky.

My dad had told me he had one bought for my son's (a kinder one) I was like great as they love them,Easter Sunday he actually had 3 for them. My parents always got them for my kids & my brothers kids & my dad continues it since my mom passed away a few years ago

When I was a child we got one egg from parents. I didn't feel deprived as didn't know any different. When my children were young, they seemed to get eggs from everyone, grandparents, aunts, uncles, childminders, even some of my friends and neighbours. Getting on for double diggits each and far too many to eat or fully appreciate. So far I haven't bought my dgc any easter eggs, and don't intend to as they get older, unless it's a small easter egg hunt in garden type thing. They, like their parents did, seem to get far too many anyway. Incidentally I do spend quality time with my dgc and treat in other ways, but feel egg buying has become too excessive.

Yes, my parents bought my children and me and egg each.

Nope. But I did buy one for my 84 yr old dad.
