Report this women or mind my own business?

There's a woman I follow on tiktok that takes Mounjaro. I also take mounjaro so that's probably why she came up on my feed.

She is very, very thin and it is obvious she has an eating disorder (she actually says she has and has relapsed). She says she is 7 stone 10 and her goal weight is 7 stone, but she is pretty tall (5'10?). I think she looks even thinner than that tbh. She posted a couple months ago saying that she was banned from mounjaro after her GP contacted the supplier. She was asking for suppliers that don't ask for video calls or contact the GP and she managed to find one. She was able to get a few months supply before getting banned again and is now looking for another supplier. She's posted today about side effects and feeling really exhausted etc.

I feel like I have a moral responsibility to report her to her new supplier because she's pushing herself into the grave. But 90% of me is saying i should just mind my own business. I worry about the future of mounjaro if underweight people with ED's are able to obtain it and then become serioiusly ill from it.

YABU = mind your own business
YANBU = report her

I don't know.

It's a v tricky position to be in OP.

What supplier is it?

My main concern would be that if she is banned again from this new online supplier she may feel she can no longer get the prescription from a licensed online pharmacy and instead she may be forced to turn to black market dealers which could b a lot lot worse.

So I'm a bit conflicted. Gosh, poor women.

I actually really really worry about the impact of glp1's on people with EDs ...

She said she was using Oushk up until recently then they asked for a video call

Maybe don't post details of what this woman is doing - this thread may be attracting those who want to misuse the drugs.

The fact her GP felt they had to intervene so she was banned from getting Mounjaro says a lot.

And yes she’ll probably find a way to get it anyway. That ED fur you.

You can report her. I’d start with TikTok (she should fall into these ‘anorexia positive’ posts that aren’t allowed.)
But dint make it your responsibility. 1- because it isn’t but also because 2- there are many of them around and you’ll exhaust yourself if you try and tackle every single one of them.

And yet they still do need reporting.

I would look at ways to report the supplier rather than the user. If they were prepared to sell to her in the first place, I doubt you reporting her would change that.

I've heard positive things about Oushk so maybe it is worth telling them because they seem to be one of the few providers with relatively decent ethics and it's good to know they asked for a video call.

The suppliers often have no clue, unfortunately, that they are being de-frauded. I think this supplier is good in asking for a video call. Most suppliers ask for pictures only and get you to fill.on an online form. Plenty of people lie about their weight on the form and it's v v easy to send fake pictures of make yourself appear bigger in a picture, or send a picture of someone else...

I don't blame the supplier on this case since they seem responsible on asking for a video call.

I think it would be best if people had to go in person to collect medication. Even if they order online, they should have to collect from a partnering pharmacy and get the pharmacist to sign off their weight. This would eliminate a lot of people accessing these drugs that shouldn't be accessing them

If they were still allowing people to do this then I wouldn't of said the supplier name, but now they have people confirm by video call.

I lost a friend recently to anorexia so quite biased here but I would say report her. As someone else said, it's similar to calling emergency services if you see someone on a ledge. We all have a responsibility to help others whose lives are at risk, and this is one of those times even if its different as its remote.
