Something you'd like to see added to holiday websites?

When looking for a holiday abroad, I find the websites quite well set out.
There's something I'd like to see though which you cant?

I'd like to filter down how close they are to the airport. What's the travelling distance from airport to hotel/ apartment?
You have to go right into the holiday details to check.
I really only want to see ones with a quick transfer not 2 hours.
I'm sure I'm right saying you can't do this but correct me if I'm wrong.

Is there anything else that's missing on a website that you'd like to see?

Details of public transport / taxi costs to popular areas from accommodation - not everyone drives or wants to drive on holiday.

British Airways Holidays does all of that..
but only if you can fly from London.

The issue is that most of them do a subset of these.
I don't often use BA holidays because I tend to find cheaper prices at Destination2, for example. But Destination2 does not allow a hotel for only part stay so I almost always use them for the hotel booking only and book flights separately, which is annoying. It's particularly relevant for my requirements because we go to the Middle East a lot and always fly overnight Friday night and overnight Saturday on the way back. So I only need 7 nights in the hotel but the package holidays always include 8 nights hotel. Not all website include requirements like "beach" either. So you end up wading through hotels in downtown Dubai or Deira for example, when I'm going on a sun holiday and the main requirements is to be on the beach.

A holiday company that deals in school holiday times only. So often it says "summer offers from £..." but when you look, it's June and September, or it will say "May" but if course, when you click and look, it's not the half-term week, or the price in that week is actually double if not triple. It do time consuming and time wasting sorting through it all.

Just school holidays please.

We always book villas and I won’t bother using websites that don’t have a filter for car optional/not required. Both DH and I regard driving as a massive ball-achy chore and we will not do it on holiday, so we have to be in walking distances of restaurants, bars, a beach, and at least a mini-mart.

You said no-one does it. And I'm telling you BA does. Whether you then choose not to use it is up to you, but the features you desire exist!

Go to ba.com, select flight+hotel then "create custom trip".
You can select your flights, add a hotel for part of your stay eg to check in on Saturday rather than Friday and choose "beachfront" or the areas eg Jumeirah, The Palm.

You create a trip as if it's separate but you'll get package prices, so it will work out cheaper than booking separately, but only BA / Qatar flights.

Fair point, that's good to know. Thank you.
I wish more of them did.

A filter option for room type. I have DSC and wanted us to be together when they were younger, but in separate rooms of a family suite. I have trawled through hundreds of hotels each year, trying to look for family suites or interconnecting rooms. Such a waste of time which would be easily resolved with a filter.

Omg yes, this drives me nuts! It’s such an obvious thing to want to search for but no one has it as an option.
