To be irritated with all the USA themed clothing?

Why can’t you get a plain hoodie or tshirt any more? They’re all emblazoned with New York, Chicago, Illinois, Michigan, Arizona etc.

I can see buying one if you’re in that state on holiday, but why are they being sold everywhere in the UK? Are they selling them with Blackpool, Glasgow, Cardiff and Belfast on them in the US?

You see Paris or Milan ones too but the states dominate. Why are clothing manufacturers doing this? And why are people buying them? Let us have plain clothes please!

I do find that in Primark the women's ones that are plain are often just black, navy or grey (boring) or cream (gets grubby too quickly) but the mens section has a whole rainbow of lovely colours.
(don't get me started on blimmin cropped hoodies either.....😂)

I was in Primark last week and they had women’s hoodies in red, pink, green, blue, purple as well as grey, brown and black.

The zip up ones always seem to be lots of pretty colours but the non zip up ones are often the dull colours 🙁

Primark definitely have the over the head ones in lots of colours.

I want a new hoodie. I don't mind flowers or something on it - but not a random American city/college/sports team 😂😂

Yes - I do judge people who wear things with logos and slogans which have no meaning for them. OK, maybe you are a Harvard graduate. If so - fine. But I bet Harvard graduates would be the last people to wear such things!

(Armstrong and Miller did a brilliant sketch about Harbour Patrol...not specifically American, but it's hilarious on meaningless logos and slogans on clothing. Sorry I haven't posted a link, but it's on YouTube.)

These styles have been sold for years.

Needmorelego referred to it as a camping place and you surmised it was Grand Teton National Park, which was probably correct. It does have half a dozen campsites in its 485 square miles, and you can get a backcountry camping permit too, but it's not primarily a place to go camping. Backcountry exploration is only ok if you have experience and know-how and are very well equipped.

@mathanxiety I think it might have been a made up place to be honest 😂
