Buggy for international travel

Hi all

we are going to Florida and need a buggy that’s easy to travel with. Something small and light. Our dd will be 18 months when we travel

does anyone have any recommendations? I don’t mind paying abit more for something reliable as we will use it often.

thanks!

Joolz over Yoyo

Stokke yoyo 3. Fits in the overhead storage. BA specifically allow the yoyo too so there's no grief about size/whether it fits. I love it.

Thanks both! The yo-yo seems to be the most popular choice. I was looking between that and the cybex libelle (or something) but think il go for the yo-yo

It’s a great choice, I have it but have pram envy since seeing how easily the Joolz collapses

We’ve got a yo-yo for my now 2.5 year old first time we traveled with him ages 3 months. It was just the brand everyone seemed to know and use and we didn’t know anything else. Tbh, if I was buying again, the bugaboo butterfly, which friend of ours have looks like a better option to me as it looks much sturdier and more comfortable for the child, and recently someone who works at mamas and papas and seemed to have a really wide knowledge of pushchairs told me they thought the joolz aer was the best of the light-weight foldable options. The main advantage of the yo-yo has been that everyone working at airports knows it, so they will ask ‘is it a yo-yo?’ as short-hand for ‘is it a foldable buggy that will fit in the cabin locker?’

You can hire them.

When are you going?
If it'll be very sunny (rather than just warm) I'd be tempted with something like the Cosatto Whoosh. Something with a bigger sunshade and a bar to clip a fan onto if needed.

It's also sturdier but also has a luggage handle so you can pull it along like a suitcase.

We have a Joolz aer that we initially bought for travel and I now use it as my day to day pram because it’s so light and easy to use. Cabin approved for most airlines and can be folded or put back up with 1 hand.
