Pavement Parking

AIBU to challenge directly people who pull up and park on the pavement (double yellows) whilst talking on their phone?

Their response ‘there’s plenty of room’ and carry on chatting on the phone.

I say keep challenging. Pavement parking is a big issue where I live. It's inconsiderate and often dangerous. It's a pet hate of mine.

There is someone round my way who pavement parks a massive van right next to a junction. It makes it difficult for cars turning in and blocks the pavement for pushchair and wheelchair users.

I would love pavement parking to be banned around here, or better still just get the cash strapped council to issue PCNs.

They would be if they were full of flowers, ours are used as litter bins, full of drinks cans, rubbish, cig ends, vapes and the night life use them as urinals, they stink!

They'd get a fine for that here, if they were caught.

when the ban came into force, it was breathtaking (in a good way) to see how well supported it was.
