Dyslexia friendly A levels?

My dyslexic teen DC is currently halfway through GCSEs. They are starting to think ahead in terms of A levels. They are in one sense quite academic but have the usual difficulties that dyslexia brings. I was wondering if anyone has experience with completing A levels with dyslexia and any views on what subjects are more or less dyslexia friendly. Thank you

Essay based A levels are tough but would recommend an EPQ project to bump up UCAS points. You can do an artefact or essay at your own pace and use voice to text and other assistive tools to help with write up.

Stick to what they love.
There is no point forcing yourself to do a subject you have no interest in because it has shorter answer questions.

FWIW, 3 generations of dyslexic people here (well, Dad was never diagnosed but looking at me and DS it's clearly there). Maths, physics and Chem A levels for all of us. DS is doing FM too.

Lots of good advice here - would add look at the coursework/nea elements and what his strengths are.
also spg is barely assessed at a level , more at gcse. You have to be legible and comprehensible - of course it’s possible SPG gets in the way of that but it’s not often awarded separate marks even in English.
