Homemade oven baked potatoes with butter and cheese.
A really good Indian Restaurant.

I don't have one as I like variety too much

Bjorkdidit · 11/04/2025 04:53

I wouldn't be able to choose, I think it's easier to say what I don't like, which is burgers, or anything thats plain big lumps of meat like steaks.

Also I don't like meat on pizza or in curry, that's just wrong, likewise entirely cold meals, I'd never eat one by choice, even a salad would need something like a toasted pitta bread with it.

Otherwise, Mediterranean mezze type stuff, Indian, tapas, fish, seafood, Mexican, Thai, Japanese, pretty much anything really.

At home it’s Italian . We eat a lot of pasta, risotto, make our own pizzas etc.

Eating out, it’s probably Japanese.

Eenameenadeeka · 11/04/2025 05:33

Japanese

Differentstarts · 11/04/2025 06:35

I used to love this morrocan restaurant near me which did the best buffet ever...I went there on my 40th 3 years ago and it had gone to shit cos they stopped the buffet during covid!

Joint 2nd place: Greek / Turkish / Lebanese

Last weekend I had fresh local asparagus. Then a feast of oysters (best I’ve ever had), seared tuna, bbq octopus, cheddar doughnut and mussel crumpet. All outstanding, I’d love it all again. In Norfolk

Noddles.

PinotDragon86 · 11/04/2025 18:50

Low effort dinners that use up stuff, ie a couple random broccoli florets, bit of cooked chicken, some random spice I haven't used in a while and end up tasting surprisingly good. Always makes me happy when I throw something together that tastes better than it should

SherlockHolmes · 11/04/2025 19:11

Currently Korean, recently discovered this and love it, particularly bibimbap.

Also love Italian and Indian.
