To consider a late return flight with a baby?

Departing at 10pm, baby will be nearly 6 months. We’d have access to hotel room and hotel facilities all day. Would it be crazy and unfair on the other passengers? She usually goes to bed around 7:30pm and wakes once or twice in the night for a feed and then back down to sleep quickly but that’s in her bed at home... I know this might go out the window on holiday. Thoughts? An earlier flight is another £500, other dates add hundreds of pounds onto the holiday, so the alternative is we don’t go.

Do what you need to do
baby will likely sleep and you can feed them on take off and landing

I’d be worried she would yeah. I am BF though so usually that can solve anything she’s upset about but I would worry she’d be thrown out of routine, not sleep at all and be really overtired/unsettled when other passengers are trying to sleep. I have no experience of flying with a baby as she is our first

Baby will be in pram at airport until boarding

Feed onboard at 9:30/10pm ish once seated. They will sleep on you during flight

Oh in that case I would absolutely go for it! Save the money and travel at night.

Worst case scenario baby cries for 3 hours - it's not the end of the world 🤷‍♀️

Feed on takeoff and landing and I'm sure baby will sleep on you for the flight.
