to send ds to bed instead of nursery???

DS is in nursery, he's just 3, but today he's woken up but still very tired, i know he needs more sleep to sort him out.... Now i'm wondering if its reasonable for me to do that!!

DD (2yo) has been punched and kicked by him for the last half hour or so, and she's therefore been crying for 30mins solid, she's currently sat on my knee sobbing and tears rolling down her face!!

On one hand it would work in my benefit to keep him off as i have some fence panels being delivered at some point and pot luck says if i took him they'd arrive when i take him or collect him!! But on the other hand i have some things i need to post and the post office is round the corner from nursery so i can kill 2 birds with one stone...

so am i wrong to put him to bed instead of taking him to nursery???

no, put him to bed. it is only nursery. not school.

If you think he really needs the sleep then I would be inclined to send him back to bed.
You can always go post office once hes woken and take him nursery if hes awake in time.

thats what i'm thinking. they went on a nursery trip to the zoo yesterday so he's really pooped from that!! I'm sure others will be the same, but my quiet little angel of a son has turned into the devil child- no word of a lie!! dd has bruised legs from where he's kicked her and the naughty chair isn't doign an ounce of good today!!

Deffinately send him to bed then. As slarty said its only nursery not school. Him missing a session isnt going to do him any harm

It's only nursery and he's very tired, extra sleep would seem to be an appropriate prescription for him.

They wouldn't thank you for bringing in an over-tired 3 year old anyway so you will be doing them a favour in keeping him at home.

you are his mummy and know him well and instinctively know his needs, well no biggie as imo

I did the same thing a couple of weeks ago!
