To think most people don’t actually pay off their credit cards in full each month?

I always hear advice about clearing your balance each month to avoid interest but how many people actually do it? With the cost of living, unexpected expenses, and temptations everywhere, is it realistic? Do you pay yours off in full or do you carry a balance?

I heard somewhere recently only 1 in 3 people clear their credit card in full each month. I heard it either on radio four or you tube.

I thought it was the reverse - only 1/3 carry a balance, the rest pay it off.

They make a profit on the transaction fees retailers have to pay, not just interest payments from users.

There's absolutely nothing inherently wrong with credit cards, the mugs are the people who can't control their debt however they have sourced it

Do you really not think that the majority of people use them day in and day out and never carry debt?
