How would you make this Tesco ready meal?

Really enjoyed this meal the other day and 100% know I can make it. Am an okay cook.

Im thinking you sauté garlic, onion and the leeks. Add some cooked chicken pieces (bite size). Combine with a cheese sauce. Sprinkle over some breadcrumbs and put under the grill for a few mins? Chuck on a tiny bit of fresh parsley at the end

Serve with baby potatoes and pile of veg.

How would you do it?

I'm not "pretending" to have the high moral ground, I went vegetarian 50 years ago,was completely vegetarian for 30 years, I now occasionally eat chicken...if it's free range, and not stuck in a battery environment. Not sure if that was why I got the "laugh emoji", I was actually waiting for someone to ask what my nursing had to do with not eating meat.. don't worry poster, the comment was directed at me, not you!

Chicken aren't meat, they're poultry.

Word of warning....I bought the korma tray bake and one peice of "chicken" in it was literally either all skin or something else disgusting..my daughter bit into it and was seriously grossed out, when she showed me I actually had severe gag reflex and had to go heave over the toilet for a few minutes. This obviously won't happen to you as you are making your own tray bake

Bordeaux IS a claret, but not many people know that.

What? Of course it's meat. Turkey, duck, goose, pheasant, grouse, quail, ostrich and no doubt other birds I've forgotten which are also killed so we can eat them also provide us with meat. For some reason we count fish and shellfish as different from meat, but they're all animal flesh which we have eaten since our species evolved.

Erm, this one is on you lol. The OP was extremely self explanatory 😂

It was clear what she was asking.

I didn't get it either 🤦🏻‍♀️

OP, it's a traybake, don't you put all the ingredients on a baking tray and cook in the oven?

@longtompot that dish looks amazing thank you!

Fish isn't "animal" flesh,it's fish. My late parents were chicken farmers in Sussex,it was always called poultry. Oddly enough, later my late father went on to deep sea fishing. There was an interesting documentary a few months ago, about the 3 main continents, the people who had just a meat diet died out, and the ones that had nuts, berries and later types of veg faired much better. You can live solely on vegetables but not meat.

I guess that's why the Inuit became extinct.
