I work as a criminal lawyer and I can’t help but feel a bit dismissive of so-called “celebrity lawyers.” The ones who represent high-profile clients seem to be more about managing PR, making deals behind closed doors, and crafting media narratives rather than actually fighting cases in court.
Meanwhile, the rest of us are in the trenches - handling tough cases, representing everyday people, and dealing with the real grind of legal work. Of course, high-profile cases require skill but does anyone else feel like these lawyers are more “fixers” than actual legal professionals?
AIBU to think that they get more credit than they deserve?
