To ask for help for a 90s outfit?

I’ve got a hen do on Saturday and it’s 90s themed, so everyone’s dressing up suitably. It’s drinks locally then into a nearby city.

I thought I had loads of time but now it’s on Saturday and I’ve got nothing. The Spice Girls are already taken.

Any help please?

90’s fancy dress 😭

Love the rave kid idea. You could wear your hair in two mini buns on top of your head, one on each side, with bits sticking out a la Bjork. Neon smiley bobbles. Cyberdog t-shirt. Short skirt made out of old army surplus trousers. Eight or nine belts ... and little stars stuck to your cheek

Short skirt, body and longline fitted waistcoat. Wear with black tights and flat shoes.

Double denim and B*witched were my first thoughts! Just nail the dance routine to C'est La Vie, should it be required/requested on the night, and you'll have cracked it!

Oooh could you get one of those handkerchief tops and wear low slung jeans. You know the ones that had no back?? I couldn’t cos you couldn’t wear a bra but if you can??

Some things here sound more 80's to me, I think 90's is a bit trickier.

I'd go baggy combat trousers with pockets all over with a strappy vest top. Doc Martens and hair tied up.

Princess Di - white cycle shorts, college sweater, slouch socks, trainers and sunglasses. Or the revenge dress with black sheer tights and court shoes.

Any of the looks from friends, tartan mini skirt Rachel would be my choice but you might prefer another look.

Any of the iconic looks from early sex and the city - the opening credits outfit would be best.

Oasis, bootcut jeans, Adidas Gazelles, parka, bucket hat a fag and a swagger.

Nirvana - ripped jeans, check shirt, converse.

Jarvis - black cigarette leg trousers, pointed toe boots, black shirt, pink tie. Side parted fringe. Bend over and waft your hands behind your arse like the brit awards.

Brittany Spears - the school girl look would be easiest.

In that case you need a blond wig and a red swim suit!!!

Long floral dress, DMs and a German army jacket. Paint some flowers on the DMs and you have the perfect early 90s hippy look.

Yes this is my favourite too. Twist your hair into little bjork style buns all over your head, some pancake foundation, face glitter and you're good to go.

Get your MC Hammer trousers on.

Literally go shopping in New Look or Primark. Everything is so 90s again it’s great!

I’ve bought some cassette tape earrings, butterfly clips, scrunchies and a bumbag. Will wear them with leggings and a top.
