Ds has really got to me now.

He has ADHD and his behaviour this week is awful.

It has obviously been for some time and we have endless meetings with school, Ed Psych etc...

Well, my friend just phoned, my only contact from anyone today and I started crying cos I have had enough.

I cry several times at the endless meetings too but nobody takes any notice or suggest that something needs doing.

Sorry rant over, its just I wish someone would take notice of what I am telling them about ds.

My friend istaking me out tonight jsut to get away. I am out on a Tuesday night usually anyway with another friend but she is on hols so ther friend hasstepped in.

Probably didn't help that friend phoned earlier to ask what had been organised for my birthday next week, boo hoo!

Oh you poor thing. It must be so challenging for you at the moment. I'll listen to you! It's my work lunchtime and I've got about 6 mins left but I'm all yours

HappyNewYearFeet06 · 13/05/2008 13:58

Thanks. Not going to moan at you on your last 6 mins though!

Its just difficult cos I deal with it all the time. Even on a weekendwhen dh is here he is not much help!

Made even worse by school not having him when they should!

Other things getting to me to though so it all added together makes for one big mess that I have to deal with. Hope to get through it in the next couple of weeks but ds is an ongoing battle!

Meant to be going out for lunch tomorrow but can't cos ds will be here. I can't even go out when I want to anymore!

Sorry, I ended up moaning!

xx

This is a good place for moaning!
Sorry you are having a hard time of it. Is there anyone who can help you with your ds who understands his needs?
Have you looked on the SN boards, there will probably be some other mums there with kids with AHAD who will understand what you are going through.

There doesn't seem to be many people. Although you would have thought there would be. Professional wise I mean.

My mum and Dad are very good and he stays there on a weekend although hasn't stayed there for a couple of weeks. I usually wouldn't mind the fact that he hasn't stayed there for a while but as I said he has become increasingly difficult recently.

My sister seems insistent on phoning all of the time to make sure I have phoned new schools, old schools, helplines, headteachers etc... and keeps checking up on me but is no help as it just winds me up. She's not helping by phoning and moaning at me and nagging.
