I’m 5 ft 1

Last Wed 12th March I weighed 13 stone 13

Aged 52

Before last Wed (12th) I was getting into terrible eating habits. Overeating and binging on things like:

chocolate
cheese
crisps especially Pringles

chips and burgers from nearest fast food joint

pizza slices from Greggs

creamy pastries from Sainsbury’s

lattes etc .. the list goes on

Anyway, I’ve weighed today after a week’s strict diet and exercise program - and have lost

12lbs!!!!! 💪💪💪

I could shout this from the rooftops ! I was getting into such bad habits this needed to happen

hard to shift the weight in your 50’s. Wishing you all the best @GrilledSamon, and well done again, bloody brilliant.

Thank you - the changes I’ve made really are disciplining myself - to exercise when I don’t want to and also with food - I only ate half a pack of nice cold cooked meat the other day even though I was hungry for the other half - I put it away - so discipline really both with food and exercise !

Fantastic - well done!

The Boot Camp stage is the hardest when you are having to ditch old habits and adopt new ones. Sounds like you have it well under control, an achievement to be proud of!

I'm doing a mini-reset after a winter of face stuffing and now that I have ditched sugary-fatty-junky crap for a week I no longer crave it and I feel energised and positive about looking after my body and health.. Lost 3 stone a few years ago and it was the same - the habit shift required discipline and some woe, but then, once in the zone...you're on your way!
