To ask what you’d spend £528 on for your 32nd birthday after my bday plans fell apart?

I booked a spa hotel for two nights to celebrate my 32nd birthday (which is today) but it’s been a disaster. My room was full of bugs and spiders and when they moved me, the new room had centipedes and ladybirds! I decided to check out early and got my money refunded (£528). Now I’m wondering what to do with it instead - what would you spend it on if it were your birthday? A luxury treat? A different experience? Or would you just save it? Inspire me!

There’s a thread on what you keep looking at even though you’ll probably never buy it. Go look at that thread!!!

OP asked what others would do with the budget... Lots of people have said similar Confused

Do anyone bother to read anything anymore? On FB today a lady asked for dog boarding recommendations, and stated that her husband would not entertain ever having house sitters. Loads of people then suggested house sitters? Why???

Book myself some theatre tickets, festival or concert tickets.

I'd have a fancy lunch with expensive wine. Buy a load of lovely cheese to have with more wine when I get peckish later. Then while a bit tipsy I can justify (to myself) spending half the money on a massive Lego set

I’d go on the BA website and get a city break through them. It’s around £200, you’d have spending money left too.

This!
